About Rectory

Founded in 1991, Rectory Homes has established a reputation for selecting the very best sites throughout London and the Home Counties and constructing homes of exceptional quality and specification.

Rectory was founded by Simon Vickers over three decades ago, with a clear ambition: to create homes of exceptional quality while delivering lasting value. Following Simon's passing, that vision is carried forward by:

Sarah Vickers – Owner and Director

Charlie Bethell-Vickers – CEO and Managing Director

Sean Fegan – Commercial Director

George Oliver – Construction Director

Supported by:

Ben Stoddart – Head of Finance

George Bethell-Vickers – Head of Land

Poppy Hughes – Head of Sales

The Board and day-to-day operations are further supported by Rectory's three Non-Executive Directors, Nick Lee-Robinson, Peter Slattery and Ian Hewitt.

Backed by this depth of expertise, Rectory takes a hands-on approach to every stage of the housebuilding process. From site selection and planning through to design, specification, construction, and after-sales service, every aspect is carefully managed to ensure the highest standards are consistently achieved.

Rectory does not aspire to be a volume house builder but instead focuses on select developments, taking pride in the quality of the homes we build and our standards of customer service.

We have undertaken developments across a range of locations in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Middlesex. Each development is unique, planned and designed according to the specific site, using bespoke house designs which both complement and enhance each location and suit the needs and desires of our prospective home buyers.

At the heart of everything we do is the creation of beautiful homes tailored to their surroundings in great locations which keep our customers as the central focus. Through the Rectory Foundation, we also give back to the communities in which we build, reinvesting profits into local charities and causes that support and strengthen those areas.
